About Horizon
Construction is
in our DNA.
To be the leading provider of quality construction and engineering services in Rwanda, the region and beyond.
To build long-term relationships of value with our clients and partners by delivering quality construction and engineering solutions with the best resources and latest techniques.
Core Values
What We Do
Six disciplines. One integrated builder.
Road Construction & Maintenance
Asphalt, cobbled-stone and murram roads across Rwanda. We own the country's only Bomag MPH-125 road recycler and have delivered more than 500 km of asphalt roads — the first company in Rwanda to do so.
Building & Construction
Commercial, institutional, healthcare and residential housing. Delivered work includes the Rwanda Peace Academy, Rubavu Border Post, the Rwanda Public Library and Gacuriro Estates.
Energy & Water Resources
Dams, hydro-power structures and dykes. Horizon built Rwanda's first dyke, in Bugesera.
In-house Production of Construction Materials
An asphalt plant in Kinyinya and a stone crusher in Musanze produce road kerbs, asphalt concrete, reinforced concrete slabs, culverts, paving slabs and cement blocks — used on our sites and sold to other developers.
Civil Works
General civil engineering across roads, bridges and border-post infrastructure.
Construction Equipment
A fleet of 300+ pieces of heavy and light duty equipment backed by an in-house maintenance workshop, keeping projects moving on schedule.
Equipment & Innovation
The Bomag MPH-125
Road Recycler.
Horizon owns Rwanda's only Bomag MPH-125 road recycler. Reclaiming and re-stabilising existing road material in a single pass, it transforms the economics of road rehabilitation.
